Can anyone identify this (washing machine?) part?!

Hello - I had to do some work around my washing machine (Hoover Dynamic 6+50) and to the waste outlet and hose which meant pulling the machine out of its cupboard. When I eventually got it back in, I discovered this black plastic thingy on the floor, and I have no idea where it came from - the waste connector (can't see how), the washing machine (I haven't tipped it up to look), or my tool box! It's 1 7/8" (47mm) long.

I'm now nervous about running the machine until I've identified it.

Any ideas anyone?

At first glance, I would say it looks like a reducer between two pipes?

I'm on my iPad so I can do a google search, but if you drag and drop the saved image into the google search bar, it should come up with a million and a half results for images like and similar.

Or just walk into Curry's tomorrow and ask a sales rep if they can identify it for you using there database?

Thanks - the image search was a great suggestion, and up came lots of similar objects, but not that one! I don't think it can be any kind of reducer as the central bore is the same size right through it. Perhaps Curry's is an option if no-one else can identify it.

I think I know what this is...

Washing machine drums are secured to the rear body panel during transit, from depot to store, and to the buyers house, where they personally unscrew the bolts prior to pluging in and starting the machine; they are there to stop the drum hitting the sides during transit...

The securing bolts have a plastic sleeve on them...

Just a guess, but looks like it was sitting at the bottom of the machine, just waiting to be dislodged?
