Because the socket on a cooker control unit is connected from the cooker wiring with conductors of a size suitable for the rating of the circuit.

There is a fuse in the plug of the radio, wich allows a much smaller csa conductor from the plugtop to the appliance.

Ps I still dont understand why its NOT dangerous to run say a plastic radio (with no earth in lead) from the socket which often comes with a cooker socket)

I don't understand why you think that's analogous to running a fan off a shower circuit....
