Hi, Just had a new viessmann 100-w fitted." minor niggles".1.pipe has been terminated outside using 32mm pipe feeding into my rain water downpipe which goes into drain direct, using downpipe "t".The downpipe does not have a bend at the bottom, but fits into drain sleeve trap. The flexible condensate pipe from boiler to 32mm is inside garage, 4 foot straight drop to bend to outside. Is this ok,? I thought drainpipes where a "no no"? also, no outside lagging on 32mm.otherwise, excelent job.If outside pipe feezes, just pull flexi inside out of 32mm and into a bucket.

How long is the 32mm run outside and what kind of slope has it got ?
Hi, Thanks for reply.35-40 degrees and 2 feet long.

It should be OK if it's in 32mm - According to the manufacturers 32mm doesn't need to be insulated. However, if we have a repeat of this year's bizarre weather when it stayed at about -7 all day and down to about -15 at night all bets are off....

You might be better to put some insulation on it for peace of mind.
