Hi Peeps,

Would anybody happen know if you can swap the power head from an old Honeywell 3 way diverter (heating or hot water) to a mid position (heating, hot water or both ) or do I need to replace the valve completely?

Thanks for your time SG.

If the diverter valve is the type with a removable actuator (made after 1987) then all you need to do is change the actuator for a mid-position type, part no 40003916-003. If it is the older type then you can either replace the complete valve or change the actuator and the mounting plate and ball assembly, part no 40003918-007. You will have to drain down to change the older type, but not the post 1987 versions.

Thanks for your help that's great
Will be nice to have the heating on in the cold after we have all had showers.
