hi, when we moved in, the 1st thing we noticed was there was no loft access. Upon questioning the neighbour, it appears that the terrace we are in used to be maisonettes, and as a result there is a 9" steel reinforced concrete "top" before the normal roof, obviously. Is it possible to do anything with this, as apart from anything else, there is prob no insulation up there!. The access to the 5 row terrace has access hatches at either end of the apex of the roof.
