My cooker hood does not have a fused isolator
They put the cooker on the ring with a double socket next to the top of the cooker hood
I want to bring the isolator next to a socket. Above the worktop for easy access.
Am I allowed to connect the fused spur as in the diagram. So basically I use the supply section as a connector for the ring and take from the load section the supply for the cooker hood.
In other words the 2.5mm from the cu is connected to the supply section of the fused spur, again from the supply section I connect a 2.5mm to the next socket etc and complete the ring.
Also I need to put the fused spur almost next to a socket is there a min cable length that I have to use as it seems only about 15-20cm long.
