Can I remove part of this wall??

I think it would be fine to remove the part of the wall highlighted as there isn't any load on it as far as I can see..

Or will the roof fall in!?

looks fine to me as long as no joist joins on top off the cupboard section you are removing

Otherwise I'd say it is just a partition wall. How thick is the masonry?
