Can I replace a Yuasa Y7-12 with a NP7-12 ???

Hi,

Wonder if you can help me.

My alarm battery is 5 1/2yr old and now failing.

It is a Yuasa Y7-12 12v, 7ah, C20 - but, can not get one for a few days.

I can buy a Yuasa NP7-12 7ah today from local stockist this morning. On paper they look the same, and the dimensions are the same.

Can I replce the Y7 with the NP7?

Only difference is that the Y7 has this C20 code at the end of it's part numbr, does this mean anything?
