Hi there

I've been having trouble around my bath recently, in as much as it leaks water to beneath the bath. It has one of those curved strips which joins the bottom tiles to the bath, but where the join should be there is a gap, which gets larger when you stand in the bath or lean on it, as this makes the bath go lower by a small amount.

So I've siliconed around it (a couple of days ago). Seems to have done ok, and certainly looks much better than it did. I would however like to go for a belt and braces approach and add a second layer of silicone just to make sure it is water tight.

But before I do I wanted to check: Is it ok to silicone onto silicone?

Cheers

Max

Silicone doesn't stick very well to silicone.

You really want to prevent the movement in the first place.

Presumably the movement is a recent thing as i assume the existing seal worked at some point?
