Slightly silly query here.
About an hour ago I had the silicone seal reapplied around the bath. Great.
Trouble is I'm going out tonight and I really need to have a bath!
I know that silicone takes about 24hrs to properly cure, but do you reckon if I carefully have a bath (probably in a couple of hours) and try really hard not to splash over the silicone, it'll be ok?
Thanks folks!

Assuming the bath is against a wall then ideally you will have filled the bath with water before you silicone so that the silicone is compressed when the bath is empty. If you didn't do this then when the bath's full the bath will flex the gap may be larger & maybe too much for the silicone.

Yeah, that was done. So I'm not so worried about that particular peril.
More concerned about the dangers of splashes onto not fully cured silicone.
What do you think. If I'm careful do you think it'll be ok?

Getting it wet shouldn't make any difference (within reason). Quite common to shape silicone with liquid so the odd splash should be okay.

But why have you drained the bath before the silicone's cured?
