Can I use standard plasterboard in bathroom by basin?

As mentioned, going for this look:

For that boxing behind the basin, is standard plasterboard OK, or is it better to use something like Gyproc Moisture Resistant Tapered edge Plasterboard - I ask mostly because I already have some standard boards waiting to be put up.
