I'm fitting some new rads in the house today and have had the boiler off just to be sure...sadly the job has taken slightly longer due to me running out of copper fittings. cold house tonight then! Is the boiler ok to be turned back on aslong as the room stat is left in the off position....assuming the pump wont run on hot water demand.

Its a fairly new worcester greenstar 25Si condesing boiler if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance! :D

Please say yes we need to shower!!

I dont think so

as I think this boiler whacks its pump on to dissapate heat build up after being on for Hot Water

But I really am not sure, but better safe than sorry

I take it from your post that the boiler and system are drained at present?

If that is the case then a resounding NO.

Otherwise heed corgis' advice.

The only ones that come to mind that can be run as water heaters only are the Vaillant Ecotec Plus range that I fit, although no doubt someone will correct me :?

Hopefully Craig, clfgas, will come on tonight, he's a worcester expert
