So why do they destroy their documents?
Documents show which in country they were previously living, this would be the country to which they would be re-patriated.
If they do not have such documents then there is no admissible information as to which country they should be returned to.

I find this disgusting. At a time like this they need to be united.
Imagine being black and trying to leave the Ukraine, only to be told they have to walk because they are black... how scared must they be in thinking they are on their own.

It’s an awful sight.
Why were these people not flown out of Ukraine and repatriated before all this kicked off, maybe they ‘lost’ their passports on arrival. That aside they should be allowed to board a train for safety. It struck me that the decision to not allow them out of Ukraine -or not allow them in to Poland had come from Poland .
