I have this door lock that recently passed away in my back door. The only inscription in it says 88. It has 2 long rods that goes along a hollow cavity of the door and latches the top and bottom frame of the door when locked. The rods can be screwed and unscrewed.

I cannot find a replacement in any hardware store. And I don’t know what to even look for online.

I would really appreciate someone helped.

Kindly,

Mr. Wide Open Back Door.

Any info on the door or keep? Have you tried a lock shop? Perhaps you can fit a euro night latch for a temporary fix until you get sorted?
