Hi. Can someone give me some advice as to why these shower wastes are incorrectly installed? Thank you

These first three should a wet room shower waste discharging onto the flow of the drain in an internal manhole.

And these two show two seperate wet room floor wastes joining together in the concrete floor below joining below ground in to the stub stack

The discharge into the inspection chamber should be via a lateral into the channel in appropriate material & size rather than just dropping onto the channel/benching

The white pipe isn't rated for below ground use.
Normal practise is to use 4" below floor and reduce above FFL

Use of smaller bore pipework below floor level could also lead to future problems in the event of blockages - access is nigh on impossible using jets or worms.

I think I'll see if I can get building control around to see it. It's a bit of a difficult situation as we are doing a full refurb of all the plumbing and heating in this ESCC property through the main contractor, but for some reason they have got their own plumbers in to fit the shower profiles

Waste in the 1st 3 pictures could be nigh on impossible to clean without destroying it! Solvent joints wont come apart and no rodding eye on the end to give access to the horizontal run. Depending whats going in the top of that boss pipe determines access to the other runs too.

Very poor job, and I'd be extremely surprised if Building Control permit it. As said, should be 110mm underground, reducing to 40/50mm just under the floor as required.

having a closer look at the photos

It looks to me as if the right hand socket on the swept tee and the left socket on the 135degree have been cut down to allow the fittings into the space available.

Great idea - shorten the fitting then bury it!
