Can under a bath be tiled without any real problems?

Hi,

I'm renovating a ground floor bathroom and want to ask if there is any real reason (apart from the extra cost) not to tile the whole floor completely.

A standard acrylic bath with a wooden supporting frame will be installed now, but I may be putting a free standing bath in at a later date.

Can under the bath be tiled without any real problems?

Thanks

I always tile all floors, bathroom and kitchens.
In the grand scheme of things, how much more does that cost???
Probably less than a day labour work for the plumber/carpenter.
