We've got a need for a fairly permanent dehumidifier. It would be convenient to fit one in the large cupboard which contains our boiler, water tanks, and various machinery, with vents through the walls into the adjacent rooms which actually need dehumidifying. This would get it out of view, in a room where the noise isn't noticable, near to a power feed and a drain for the condensate. But...it isn't the cupboard which needs dehumidifying, it's the rooms next door.
The obvious thing would seem to be a dehumidifier which can accept the sort of large pipe/duct used for portable air-conditioning units. Does anyone sell such a thing in UK? I've had a good look at google and not found anything. There are plenty of "portable" ones with wheels, and a few wall-mountable ones (generally ugly), but none which are designed to be permanently installed in this way.
Any suggestions?
