Can you put floor levelling compound on top of itself ?!

Am trying to level a recess which has a dip on one corner/side. I put down a 3mm bed but it is still out by 3mm (much better elsewehere now though !).

So, can I put levelling compound on top of itself ? (this is Wickes basic product - not the latex)
