Has anyone any experience of cancelling a Chubb service contract?
Chubb installed our alarm about ten years ago and ever since we have paid an annual service charge. Because it is now getting so expensive we are thinking about terminating the agreement and disconnecting the alarm. How do I do this as if I remove the front panel I understand it sets the alarm off unless you have the engineers code which I doubt Chubb will give out.
Anyone have experience they could share would be appreciated.

Who owns the equipment you or them? Should be detailed somewhere in the paperwork,

Why not call your local, independent alarm company and see if they'll take it over? We just took one over, RedCare and all.

Alternatively, get the Chubb engineer to set the engineer's code to the default at the next service (after you've cancelled the contract). Don't ask, don't get...!! ;)
