Just fitting a flush light fitting.

On the fitting there is a label showing Live, Neutral and Earth..I can see where the live and neutral go in but can see anywhere the earth, the written instructions also state that all three should be fitted..but the picture diagram only shows live and neautral being fitted..

Any ideas? Pics attached

Ahh ok, I thought so seeing as its in the middle above the neutral sign lol..

But with the L and N the screws are above, so you put the wires in the holes then screw down from above to secure, with the earth, I take that screw out and put it in but then there no screw above to come down on it if that makes sense..not sure how to get it in the same whole the screw goes in, or do I just wrap it round the screw?

In this case I would loosen screw and wrap round screw and screw down. That method will work okay.

But I feel that that the screw is actually there to hold the white lamp holder in place and there should have been a nut and washers on the lower bolt, and that was supposed to be used to hold the earth.

Sfk

edit >>> Sorry, EFL got there first. :>

Just to say thanks. I actually got a reply from Argos as well in the end..that screw is indeed for the earth..bit shoddy not to put an insert for it..but it works fine!
