hi i have a pc and i have reformatted it but norton anti virus 2005 is buit in on reformat and it not come off ive tried using the add/remove but that dont work anyone know how to get it off?
cant get old norton antivirus 05 off!!!

If that fails and you do not have any other Norton or Symantic software you want to keep, you can delete the sub directories C:/programme files/ norton or c:/programme files / symantic. This second solution is less elegant and may leave some carp left in your registry but it will not cause any harm and it will work.
All this at your own risk and take a back up first.
