Both hot and cold taps were constantly dripping...

So i decided to replace both ceramic tap cartridges.

As expected the hexagonal nut was stiff but using a adjustable wrench i managed to slacken the nut to remove the cold water cartridge.

However the hot water tap on the left is wont budge. I have tried WD-40 and heat. Still no luck.

I tried so hard to remove it that I have almost rounded off the nut.

What advice would you guys give? I really don't want to call out a professional to charge me for 5 mins work.

The annoying thing about all of this is that the tap is under warrenty but I have lost my receipt.

I have decided to invest in a Cordless impact driver and socket set.

Mainly because I can see myself struggling with a ratchet and think that some electrical power may be the best option to remove this stiff nut.

Can anyone recommend a decent/reasonably priced impact driver/socket set?
