Hi, I have a shower hose connected to a mira sport shower. The hose is leaking and ive tried to unscrew from the plastic outlet to no avail. Ive tried descaling both from inside the hose (by suspending it upwards so the descaler can remove any limescale deposits where the hose meets the shower) and also from the outside. I can get a good purchase on the connector with pliers, but the plastic bends if i pull hard. any ideas? Thanks

Bigger grips spring to mind. Also, when you are using the pliers or grips, hold the fititng with them close to the end nearest the hose - you may be crushing the thread onto the white nylon shower outlet otherwise.
