Hello all,
Bit of a novice DIYer. I removed my old shower bar a while ago and capped the pipes while I worked on the rest of the bathroom.
My new shower mixer however doesn't fit into it (it has what I think is 1/2" male thread compression fitting).
I'm not exactly sure how to remove this fitting to get back to the 15mm pipe. It looks to be one solid fitting and doesn't budge. I'm worried about applying too much force as to not damage pipe work behind.
Was hoping someone could help me understand how to remove it. I can't cut the cut to remove it as it wouldn't leave me enough exposed pipe to do anything.
Many thanks!
