Its all in the T&C. What do they say? You agree to the T&C when you take out the policy.

Not a question of being reasonable or not. If they're not obliged to do it they won't if they are they should! Have you read the T&C?

i dont mind susie, i was on top of a problem, you brainstorm it, get some other points of view and sometimes you learn from it
having some time to think about the boys who posted have put things in perspective and if it ends with a comment like q--- fook all its no hardship,

I had a dodgy Capri, and someone, taken their test 3 weeks before rammed me head on, I had a hire car for 3-4 months, Citroen Xara I think it was, the handling was rubbish, the radio was broken from new, and I got £200 more than what I paid for the car!
 
Never mind the insurers and the family solictor - just get him a £200 motor with a bit of tax and MOT - then drive it in a scrappy on MOT fail day and get £80. simples. look on eBay for starters :idea:
