Hi All,

I have about 2ft x 6 mtrs of void under my caravan, and want to use trellis to cover. Please see photo.

Due to the ground not being fully concrete, I was going to wedge some battens vertically and then try and screw some horizontally into the slabs, then screw the trellis to it and add hinges to the second trellis so I have access. My question is it okay to wedge the battens under the caravan? There does seem to be some timber running the very perimeter of the caravan underneath, maybe I could screw into that ? Also what hinges would you recommend?

I'll paint the trellis so it all looks smart.. and it fits perfect as its already 2ft.

TIA

Rather than timber trellis, I would take a look at Eurocell's UPVC offerings. It will not rot, never needs painting, and will prove cheaper.
