Carol Vorderman.Loan Adverts on Children TV.

Why should loan companies be allowed to advertise their grubby trade on Children's TV channels.The advert that gets me the most is the one with Carol Vorderman.Here we have a multi-millionaire-ess encouraging people who maybe in dire financial straights,to take out a loan with the company that is using her.She doesn't tell you though that you will lose your home if you default on the loan.But why should this be on kid's TV.

I thought she'd stopped doing those ads? She got a lot of stick for it a while ago.

I suppose the reason they choose children's TV is for single, out of work parents with money probs who watch it.

I've seen her in the past few weeks doing the First Plus advert.That probably is the reason,to get poor people with kids to go for loans.Shabby!
Most will probably never pay them back.

i personaly dont think any personality should endorse any product they dont activley fully use themselves at there own full expense
in other words they must think its a good product that they have already subscribed to it before any connection with the company what so ever

If people that appeared in adverts had to tell only the facts as they are, there would be no adverts containing people anymore

What I can't understand is that Vorderman grew up in pretty dire financial straits (Who do you think you are) - so why does she promote such cynical junk?

I saw that programme as well Joe and I liked her a lot in it,because that was the real Carol Vorderman,the Carol that knew hardship,who's father walked out on her mother,and her sister, when Carol herself was only three weeks old. It is probably people like that today who are the soft targets for these loan company leeches,and for her of all people to put her name to this,and probably make a fortune from it, is unforgivably shameful.
