I have a table and chairs in cast aluminium which need re-furbishing.What would be the best way to remove the old coating?Power washing?Wire brush?

I'll probably just repaint with Hammerite or similar

It is - in quite a few places.Just posted that pic as an example.

Its either anodized or powder coated, not sure. You might even be able to get them refinished locally?

for DIY, an acid paint stripper might help, but most of it will be hard to shift, especially in the corners.
