Cast gutter sealant?

Can some recommend a sealant for cast iron gutter. After cleaning the gutters, I've noticed a couple of sections are now leaking - never had this problem in the past after removing debris.

There doesn't appear to be fixings securing the sections - not sure why, the sections have been in place for ~ 40 years trouble free.

Yeah the tar like stuff will do it. The best stuff though is if you can get a small tub of acrypol and paint it over the joint, it's great for sealing cast gutters.

The cast would have originally been bolted together with putty joints.
