The two radiator pipes are approx 2cm thick each, and runs 6 meters long at the back of kitchen unit. I am in a purposed built flat with communal heating so I can't move the pipe.

They were originally wrapped with some wool like insulation which I removed them because kitchen unit and the plaster in this corner were bother crumbling (possible condensation problem?)

I'd like to know if it's ok to leave the pipe as it is behind new kitchen unit without a new insulation wrap? If there was a condensation then the heat will help the problem? However, will it have any adverse effect on new plater and new kitchen unit (IKEA) ?

Thanks Woody, Can you please elaborate more about potential problems if without any insulation?
I can't use foam, it'll be too high/thick for kitchen unit. I'll use a wrap one if I have to.

These will create condensation even at low temperatures. Heat won't be constant will it?

Any condensation, creates local humid air which then creates mould on the walls and base units. Pipe rusting is a secondary issue but more long term.
