Hi

i live in an old cottage style house with stone walls.

Have had a new kitchen installed and some of the base units are on a wall where no units used to be. the units are very cold inside and when opening the doors i can can feel the cold air. woujld like to try and fit some kind of insulating behind between back of unit and wall to try and stop the cold. house does have a condensation problem and I am just about to invest in a dehumidifier - once heating goes off the house is really cold.
Can anyone help with suggestions as to what I can use to insulate - would have to take plinths off and try to get in from underneath. thought about something like a hot water tank jacket or some kind of foam which i would need to inject with through a hole in back of unit.
Grateful for any advice.
Thanks
