I need to install a cat flap in a upvc door - can anyone advise please? Is it possible to DIY or do I need a professional? :?:

heeelllooo abal and welcome :D :D :D

plastic panel then you could fit with the correct tools [drill jigsaw] and skill

glass pane new glass unit required

Yes, plastic panels are just foam sandwiched between two plastic sheets.

Just make sure the hole is higher than the rubber seal between the panel and the bottom rail, so that the seal is not broken

You can also purchase solid upvc panels as well as foam filled- Note thickness of panel because they have several thickness`s as they do with double glaze units.Usually you will have instructions with your cap flap-I suggest you go to the pet shop and have a chat with them. Stabber
