Catnic overhang ????

Hi All,

My building control man says I need a 150mm overhang on both sides. My problem is the size; I have bought 2400mm's but it only gives me a 125mm overhang on both sides. The next size I would have to get is 2700 which would be huge.

Would 125mm on both sides be OK?

100 mm is normally the minimum, unless you have some strange loading going on

If the info is not on the catnic site, then ask catnic for it - they normally have a standard thing for these requests - ask for minimum bearing details

In fact, the BCO should have a cupboard full of them, as they always tend to ask for written confirmation whenever they come across it.

Thanks mate, did that and they said 125mm on each side was fine.
