Cavity closers under wall plate

Hi,

Small single storey extension, got a bricky coming to do the brickwork.

Now just thinking about cavity closers, will I need to fit them before I ask the bricky to bed the wall plate?

I've assumed using something like this: https://www.tradestoreonline.co.uk/grey-pvc-cavity-closer-2-4m-50-100mm-cavities-packs-of-10/

But given that the cavity will be 50% filled with celotex and I better off just jamming a 4 inch or so strip of celotex down the top of the gap?

Assume better to use the proper ones around windows and doors?

Insulation should be continuous into roof insulation.

Thanks, so no cavity closers at the top and wedge a celotex seal.

You are going to have cold spots if you have gaps in your insulation.
