Cavity Insulation below dpm?

Hi.

Another little hurdle. Will be using dritherm 100mm slabs. (red in drawing)

The bottom of timber floor will begin from blue line which is 4 inches above internal dpm.

the external dpc is one block higher than internal dpc for 2.5m then steps in line with internal.

Would I put the dritherm below the external dpm in line with internal one or at external dpm level?

DPC should be at the same level internal and external unless you are fitting a cavity tray.

Normally you can have some insulation below both DPCs at the same level. Potentially any full fill insulation below that external DPC will get saturated and damp will bridge the cavity
