Ceiling in garage. Timber stud or MF?

Hello there - was looking at fitting a ceiling in my garage. Its concrete all round and approx 6m x 6m. What would everyone recommend I use? Fit an MF ceiling or use timber studs?

What exactly is the soffit OP? Just a single concrete cast in situ slab?
