hi there, just a question regarding wiring of new light to existing ceiling rose.
im a novice at this so any advice needs to be simple.
i have two light fixtures on my landing with one switch on the wall. i turned of power to the landing lights and disconnected old light. the wires in the ceiling were as follows;
2 x red wires
2x yellow green
2x black wires.
i connected all wires up to new light using the "block" provided. ie; 2x red into brown, 2x black into blue and 2 x yellow/green into earth. i turned power on and light came on fine. unfortunatley the second light now doesnt work and seemingly has no power.
any help would be much appreciated.
