was working in a restaurant kitchen the other day and the bloke was in cleaning the canopy over the range..

he told me he got £500.00 for the job which took him 3 hours..

i didnt belive him so asked the owner, who said it was true..

Sheesh! I've seen a fair few bodge-ups in my time but that takes the biscuit! Surely it does not require the wisdom of Solomon to know that all connections need to be tight, and if there is insufficient room in a fitting, to use a slave joint box, screws or crimps depending on location.
