Ceiling rose wires

Hi just gonna replace old kitchen light with new ceiling rose .Only 3 wires coming from ceiling,Red ,black and just a copper one..I am assuming that the 3 wires are the older colors ..Red live ,black neutral and copper one earth ..Ceiling rose has only brown and blue wires on it so red /brown together blue/black together and earth from ceiling to earth connector on rose .

Just checking this is ok.

Yes that sounds right. put some green/yellow sleeve over the earth wire.
