Hi
Any chance of a sanity check? I'm laying those long celcon blocks on the inner skin of my extension. Did a few last night, it wasn't hot, so I didn't wet them before. Used what I think is a pretty workable mix wet enough to squeeze out when you bed them. Also only butter the bed for one at a time so it's not going off waiting for me to bed them down. I also pointed all the joints as I went along. 24hours later and for the one at the end where I'm building a corner up I can easily pull it off - not sure if I'm actually doing anything wrong here or if this is normal? Would really appreciate any views as obviously don't want to carry on and create a massive c#ck up.

Don't pull them off then :D
Takes a bit for the mortar to set.

Cheers Tom yeah granted it was a very silly thing to do , just worried the mortar is 'dead' due to the high suction. Dunno what else I can do really other than use a wetter mix or spraying them down.
Never done a job this size so I'm a bit paranoid about getting stuff like this wrong
