Cement Grouting gun

Can you tell us what sort of drive you have please, ie. is it paving blocks or what?

See my brief review of a pointing gun in the tools forum. It was four or five years ago! The one I have will do a good job, and quickly, it's the Pointmaster.

The ones based on a mastic gun are all rubbish

The drive is Bradstone concrete flags.
I'll have a look in the tools listings as well. Thanks

Those gaps look to narrow to me to put wet muck in.

Are you sure it's not kiln dried sand to be brushed into these gaps?

If it is sand/cement then I would mix it dry and brush it in the joints on a nice sunny day and let the moisture in the ground cure the cement.

Personally I've never really liked that method Pred.

Well I've ordered a pointmaster to give it a try. If its not too bad I'll try it on the side wall after which needs the pointing tidying up.

The gaps between the flags are a bit variable so it won't be perfect Nd if I have to hand point at least the tool wasn't too expensive

Thanks for the help. I'll let you know how I get on

I had exactly this problem and considered using a cement gun, I managed to borrow one, studied all the videos on YouTube but made a right mess as the gaps were not consistent between the slabs.

In the end the best job was achieved by waiting for a nice dry day, mixing a dry mix of sand and cement, brush it well in and lightly spray with water - don't spray too heavily or the sand will rise to the top .
