I have to rant, they are doing my noodle in.

I've had 5 visits that I know of since about the 2nd week of April.

I've just had to escort one off of the premises, explaining that I've withdrawn their implied right of access. I'm getting about 4 visits a week at the moment. I had at least one visit whilst I was away during the week (Tues, Weds & Thurs), another on Saturday and one at 6:30pm today.

Quite frankly it is harassment. Wonder if theyre calling so frequently at the multi occupied foreigner houses? Or is it just all the ethnic British they are under pressure to record.....

Partially, I have not filled in any financial detail ie do i own my own house.
They don't need to know that.

They don't 'need' to know ANY of it but they 'want' to know ALL of it.

In these austere times I want to know the cost benefit analysis of this process. I cannot see the benefit of this bloody thing at the best of times (real benefit not statistical shyte), so God only knows what the point is when we're all having to bear the brunt of being 'in this together' with the Millionaire Cameron and his Banker chums.

There is no point doing it anyway. The government will never publish the true figures and also I would giess that many of our guests won't fill in the forms or be chased for them.

My bet is that the gov will state the population being at 65 million with 7 million foreign born citizens when my ignorant guess would be around 80 million with 10 million born abroad (1 in.

They won't tell us the truth anyway.

Someone came for mine on Easter Sunday. I live in a block of flats with a locked entrance; the door entry phone rang THREE times before she finally gave up and bogged off. They really should have recruited some smarter-looking people; she was dressed in a shellsuit.

For the record I received one & filled it in online. Days later another one turned up.

Me too. I relented as she kept catching me at awkard times and I got the feeling they will never give up. i did the online version which took about 5 mins with general info and for job I did 'cat poo scooper'-description -'i scoop up cat poo'. just have a laugh with it.
