Have an oil burning Rayburn Nouvelle Mk 2. Do all the servicing myself for past 6 years consisting of de-sooting and de-caking everything and changing wicks in the cooker burner every 6 months.
Last service about 2 months ago. Yesterday central heating came on as usual but radiators only cool-to-warm after an hour. Hot water cylinder slowly cooled as water pumped through system and was cooled in radiators.
Boiler lights OK but after about 3 minutes burns only with a much smaller flame so system mainly heated only by the cooker burner which can't cope.
Suspect I need a new air pressure switch. Am I right, please?
