I've just moved into my new house, and was up in the attic when I noticed that there was a good flow of hot water going into the expansion tank of my oil-fired central heating system. Is this supposed to happen? I know I've got a stuck closed TRV on one of my radiators.

Thanks

No, cold feed and vent problem, needs sorting asap or it will sludge your system up and rot EVERYTHING, including the boiler.

Sensible questions get sensible answers ;)
Bottyworm boiler ok except the peice of speedfit I used to repair the gas pipe
next to the burner seems to be looking shiny and floppy, might try a peice of reinforced hose pipe and a jubilee clip.
