removed a rad with a thermostatic valve at 6.30pm was in house till 9.30pm nothing,next morning room flooded water pouring out of thermo valve?

Thermo radiator valve must been open by itself as the room cool down. Get a cap to cap off thermo rad valve outlet. 1/2 inch female cap will do.
