If you're just doing 4 additions or alterations, the MWC will suffice.

If you're installing a whole new circuit, or changing a CPD for another type or a whole new consumer unit, then an EIC is a must.

the installation is only 5 years old and basicaly i have to do the additional works then a full test

im moving 2 switch wires and adding 2 outside lights off the downstairs lighting circuit and changing the mcb to a rcbo to bring it 2 the 17th
eddition

so im not sure what 2 do 4 the best

You are making a few minor changes to one circuit, correct?

Then you do one MWC and detail the work you are doing in the box that is conveniently labelled:

"Description of the minor works"

A minor works cert is for minor works on just one circuit.
It's a relaxation of the need to do the EIC.

If more than one circuit then a MWC for each.
There comes a point where it is more convenient to do the EIC (say 3 or 4 MWCs perhaps)

Meeself I might do 1 or 2 MWCs but more than that it's an EIC instead
