I have some nice chairs which need re-upholstering and that's fine. But they could do with the back legs being a bit firmer .. they are just a bit squeaky and move slightly.
The back of each chair and the back legs are all one piece, which is set into the seat frame sections. There are no screws anywhere, but shaped blocks set into grooves (and glued, I think).
I am an amateur but would like to do a reasonably good job. I have no specialist tools, any suggestions would be gratefully received, .. thanks.
