Changed thermocouple but still no pilot light

I have a Corvec Britony II water heater that lost it's pilot light during the recent high winds and now fails to relight. I bought a thermocouple some years ago as I know they eventually fail in anticipation of this happening. But although I have changed the thermocouple and it does appear that the pilot light is now trying to light I still have no success in keeping the pilot alight. I have tried ringing local plumbers but they are all too busy so any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for that Kevplumb it did look clear before I sent my post but I gave it another good blast in response to your post and all is well. Looking at the pilot light now I realise that injector must have always been partially blocked. Thanks again and I know that this is a free forum but is there a charity that you support that I can send the callout charge you have saved me?
