Changing a light bulb

the electrician put a pendant in above my staircase. It's got to be 8 foot above the stairs and 6 foot from the landing...

Anyone about a nifty way to change it or do I have to fork out for a flexi ladder

Well, the ladder sounds good. Try to use a long-life lamp!

They are only any good if you have a long arm!

Seriously, they are only any good if the lamp holder is on a solid background. They will not work with a pendant. (lamp on a dangly bit of cable)

But agreed, put in a cfl lamp or something that is guaranteed for 10 years.
