Hi All

I need to replace the diaphram and the microswitch on my alpha cb33 boiler as the hot water only works with the heating on. Can anyone tell me how easy it is to do and what I will need to remove to get to the valve. alternativly does anyone have any instructions with regard to replacing these bit as don't want it to leak or anything and have to strip it again

Cheers

Not done one of these but had a look:

Lots of postshere on the CB24 and CB28 which is pretty much the same.

DIagnosis is easy - |Turn CH off
Open tap
Unclip hw switch, boiler should come on
If no - dud switch.
You should have HW without the CH flow pipe getting hot. If it does, then diaphragm or diverter.
Can't really give instructions, I know I've got the tools and exp to just get on with it!

You need to remove the plate HE to do this. Make sure you fit all the new seals that are supplied with the diaphragm.
